Assistant Head Teachers required for January 2019

Salary: L6-L10

Highfield Junior and Infant school is seeking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Headteacher who will work alongside the Head of School and his Leadership Team. The role includes taking full responsibility for leading teaching and learning within a phase as well a whole school subject focus. We are looking for an inspirational leader who has vision, passion, commitment and high expectations, someone who really wants to make a difference to the lives and futures of our children.

Highly motivated and driven, applicants must have an in-depth knowledge of excellence in primary teaching practice and should have the creativity and vision to inspire and lead change but also the focus to ensure successful outcomes are achieved. You will have exceptional people management skills in order to motivate and inspire all stakeholders in our quest to become outstanding.  This is an out-of-class role with some regular teaching responsibility.

The Prince Albert Community Trust(PACT) wish to appoint a Finance Apprentice to join our Finance team. We are a forward thinking and innovative Multi Academy Trust (MAT) with fantastic pupils and Trustees, supportive governors and a great community. We are supporting Birchfield Primary School and are currently building a Secondary Free School. 

Applicants are sought from candidates who will complement the Finance Team and have the skills and ability to:

  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Understanding of the need for confidentiality
  • Patience and the ability to deal with a wide range of demands from a variety of people
  • Polite, pleasant and efficient telephone manner
  • Flexible attitude towards day to day tasks
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A Positive attitude towards work.
  • Ability to apply knowledge learnt around all safeguarding
